New Years day at HIGH NOON! This has been a tradition since 1980! The first ski freeze was started on a dare at a New Years eve party in Port Indian. High Noon and no wet suits! This polar bear club like event of water skiing on the Schuylkill river on the first day of the new year. Some years have been mild while others have involved breaking ice just to launch the boats into the frigid waters.
All are welcome to join in or just come and watch with intrigue of the frozen spectacles.
