Who knew that world class skiers would compete in barefoot tournaments right in our own back yard. The current World Barefoot Champion, Kieth St. Onge, used to ski at this trounament every year, World Team Member Billy Bzozza had set a pending world record in barefoot jumping at this site a few years ago with a distance of 86.6 ft ( Yes, barefoot and it does not count unless you land and foot away). Kevin Towers is expacted to be on this years elite world team while his wife Heather is looking to capture a spot on the Sr. would team. The opportunity to watch this class of skiers go all out is increadible and to meet up and actually ski with them is an experiance to remember .
